Tell us about yourself.
I work, a lot! I’m the Founder of SheEO
What do you consider as your biggest achievement?
I am constantly transforming and developing as a human so there is nothing that I would consider my biggest achievement. Everything I do is connected to everything I have done before, it’s a process.
What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Find the others. It’s critical to create, make or entrepreneur with others. Everything is easier in community so reach out, ask for help and surround yourself with supporters.
How do you stay productive and be your best self at work?
I manage my energy very carefully paying attention to the food that I eat, being active physically and being surrounded by radically generous people who lift me up and help me be a better human.
What’s your top mental health tip for when the going gets tough?
Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. You disrupt the stress response when you take 3 deep breaths. And, breaking things down into smaller parts helps on the journey to achieve big audacious goals.
What are your top health hacks?
I track everything I do. I use the Whoop band to track my sleep and my activity and I give myself a break on working out if I’m not recovered enough. I follow my own energy very carefully unplugging when I need to.
How do you ensure your personal and/or family’s financial wellness?
Our financial wellness is one part of our overall wellness. It’s part of the consideration in what I chose to do each day, what matters most to me and how I design a life that works for my husband and I. I seem to be incapable of doing anything just for the money so it’s a complicated integrity-energy-values-based decision that changes over time.
What’s your favorite fun activity?
Kayaking, walking through forests, dreaming with my husband.
Who are your female role models and why?
I have hundreds of them – anyone who steps into their systems changing dreams and goes for it no matter the pushback they get from those around them. See the list of SheEo ventures for a list of 107 of them!
